With the assistance of the Illilnois Federation of Teachers, UPI Local 4100 will bring you news and alerts of the 97th Session of the Illinois General Assembly. We think this session will be important to our members.
At this time, both chambers will meet Oct. 25, 26 and 27, and Nov. 8, 9, 10.
Mr. James Ulatowski, from Johnny Economedes High School, has been recognized by HESTEC as Teacher of The Year.
This Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 5pm, our Union will be marching in Solidarity with Occupy LA and other labor groups. We will be meeting at California Plaza, on the corner of 4th and Grand.
After the march, we will have our Executive Board meeting at 7:30pm at the Plum Tree Restaurant, located at 913 North Broadway, Los Angeles, 90012.

Employee Clinic Seminar: Several Edinburg CISD employees listened to a presentation by V.P. of Operations Bill Paulk, who represents Health Smart. This is the company that runs the La Joya and PSJA school district employee clinics.
