The law firm of Silver, Golub, and Teitell LLP has sent a letter and a form to all union members affected by the Rowland layoffs. If you were affected by the Rowland layoffs, please look for the letter and form to arrive by mail during the week of 10/18/2014 through 10/25/2014. Come out and help HCSTA make phone calls for local candidates that support our students!! Issues that are vital to our classroom must be corrected and legislators need to make those changes.
Your Negotiating Team met with the School on December 14th for our first working session. Our next session is schedule for Monday, January 11th.
We will be scheduling negotiating sessions on a regular basis in an attempt to reach a fair and equitable settlement. And we will be posting updates on this site after each session.
We want to thank all those unit members who participated in the bargaining survey, and we will strive to focus on the issues important to you.
